Recession Proof Weekend

April 23, 2009

Just 2 hours from NYC you can escape the city for a weekend in the beautiful Hudson Valley. A  stay at the Inn, with dinner downstairs, you can’t help but relax and leave the worries of the city behind.    Spring is here and it is a great time to enjoy all the outdoor events the Catskills have to offer.  A leisurely walk to the Saugerties Lighthouse for a picnic, or a mountain hike.  As a special incentive, if you spend two nights at Inn we offer you a 3 course dinner  downstairs at Cafe Tamayo on us. You almost can’t afford not to come.  Hope to see you soon

A Time for Two Seasons

March 22, 2009

For those that want to keep skiing it is the perfect year.  There was enough snow and base that the slopes are staying open until  Mid April.  For the rest of us, Spring is around the corner, many would say it couldn’t come soon enough.  So either way it is the perfect time for a visit to the Hudson Valley,  The Inn at Tamayo, and relax with dinner downstairs at the restaurant.  Off season prices are still in effect at the Inn, and if you are staying upstairs we are still offering our 4 course prix fixe dinner at 50% off.  We also still have rooms open for  Horse Shows in the Sun for this coming season.  We offer  very close and reasonably priced rooms for all of the shows.   There are so many reasons to come to Saugerties,  we hope to see you soon.

A Reasonable Holiday Weekend

Seamon Park all lit up for the holidays

Seamon Park all lit up for the holidays

A great place to stay for the holidays.  This year both Cafe Tamayo and the Inn at Tamayo will be open for the Holiday season.  The restaurant  will serve dinner straight through the winter on Friday and Saturday evenings.  The Inn will be open every evening.  What a great way to celebrate the holidays, with a reasonably priced room in a  Historic 1864 building in Saugerties NY,  a beautiful Hudson River town. The business district is historically land marked, great shops, a movie theatre in town, the lighthouse is an easy walk away.  Seamon Park is light up for the holidays.  Plus if you want to ski you are close to Windham and Hunter mountains.  Just 2 hours north of the city, 1 mile off the Thruway. and it feels like a different world.  Easy to get to, and a great way to spend the weekend.  After a wonderful dinner at Cafe Tamayo you only have to walk upstairs to your comfortable room.  E mail or call Rickie or James at 845-246-9371 for informations.
